Preparing for Your Trip

The boat is located at Seaview Harbor Marina, 303 Hospitality Drive, Longport, NJ, 08403.  If needed, we can arrange for a pick-up at 212 Bay Avenue in Ocean City but the dock there is often silted up and availability is inconsistent. Seaview Harbor Marina is convenient with ample free parking

  • The marina is conveniently located just 2.2 easy miles from the Ocean City- Longport Bridge, AKA Ocean Drive Bridge or Inlet Bridge and 10 minutes from the Ocean City – Somers Point Parkway exits.

  • If you’re arriving via the Parkway South, exit 30, on Friday and Saturday afternoons during the summer will likely be congested. Plan accordingly by leaving early or finding an alternate route.

Parking

  • There is ample free parking in the designated guest lot at the marina.

Communication

  • The Captain will contact you the night before your trip. Feel free to call the Captain any evening before the trip between 5PM and 8PM.

When to Arrive and Where to Meet

  • Try to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled departure so that we have time to meet, help load any gear you bring and hold a safety briefing. The Captain or Mate will meet you at the koi pond next to La Barca restaurant.

  • Please let us know if anyone in your party is special needs or has mobility issues. We're here to help.

What to Bring

  • Any snacks, sandwiches, and beverages you like. We do not provide or sell food or beverages. Coolers are fine and we have cooler space on board.  BYOB is fine. Just use common sense. You are on a moving vessel. A bag of ice is always appreciated.

What to Wear

  • Clothes that are comfortable for the weather. If rain threatens, cheap ponchos and rain gear are available at Tight Lines Bait and Tackle at 830 Bay Avenue in Somers Point. tightlinesnj.com

  • Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses are advised.

  • Light jacket or sweatshirt. Early in the season from April through Mid-June the air temperatures on the water can be as much as ten degrees cooler than on land due to colder water

  • Footwear. Please try to avoid black-soled shoes.

About Motion Sickness

  • Motion sickness is very rare on the bay and river. If you have experienced motion sickness on the ocean in the past or are unsure, we recommend taking an OTC medication. Follow the manufacturer's directions. We like Dramamine II. Take the night before your trip before bed and again an hour before your trip.

End of Trip

  • Pictures of smiling faces.

  • We clean and bag any legal-sized fish you caught.
